We Can Do It

The season 2022-23 has been a roller coaster in the premier league. Like Liverpool defeated Manchester United by 7-0, the Bournemouth defeated Liverpool by 1-0 which means most of the teams have not been consistent this season.

But Manchester City and Arsenal are on the other hand. They both are consistent teams and are fighting for the premier league title. Manchester City have defeated them in all games this season, like in the recent game held on 16 February they defeated them by 3-1.

But the contest doesn’t end here, if you look at the Points table Arsenal are on top with 72 points Followed by Manchester City with 64. The below table shows that there is a clear competition between Manchester City and Arsenal.While the rest teams which are on 3rd, 4th and 5th place are far from the title contest.

In this season there are 38 match days so leaving Arsenal Newcastle, Manchester United ( Arsenal has to play 9 games and Newcastle 12 games and Manchester United also) Manchester City and Tottenham have to play 10 games.( Covering only the top 5 teams).

My prediction or what I think is that Manchester City could easily catch up if Arsenal lose or draw 1 or 2 games. Manchester City will face Arsenal in the end of April in the Etihad Stadium. Haaland who is in his prime could miss this game due to groin injury but I personally think that this would not affect Manchester City’s performance as recently they defeated Liverpool by 4-1 on 1st of April.
